Are there ever times when you think no one pays enough attention to what you think or how you feel--just because you're a kid? Most of us have felt that way at one time or another.

Well, there is good news! Jesus always cares about what you think and how you feel, even though you are "just a kid." You matter to Him. The Bible teaches us this. When some of Jesus' disciples mistakenly thought that Jesus should not be bothered with the children which were brought to Him, Jesus corrected them. Jesus told them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (You can read about this in the Bible at Matthew 19:13-15, Mark 10:13-16, and Luke 18:15-17.)

So, you see, God really does think you are special. He loves you, He cares about you, and He listens when you pray. Never forget that you are special to God.
