Have you ever been afraid? Maybe late at night lying in bed you hear a noise. You start thinking of what it could be. Is it a "monster" coming up the stairs? Is there something under your bed? When we are alone or when it is dark, it is easy to think of bad things and become frightened. But there is always Someone we can call on for help. The Lord is always there. We sometimes forget this in times of fright, but He is always there.

The next time you feel the urge to be afraid, remember the Lord is there and call on Him. Put your trust in Him.
 

The Bible tells us those who know His name trust in Him, and the Lord has never forsaken (left) those who seek Him:
