The Bible tells us we must not quit meeting together as Christ's church.
We are to meet together and encourage one another:
The members of Christ's church can be compared to the coals of a fire. Together the coals of a fire glow red hot as long as fuel is added. One coal close to the fire, in turn, heats another coal beside it. Take away the fuel or remove a coal from the fire and it will grow cold. This is what happens to Christians who forsake the assembly. We need to meet together, feed on God's Word just like a fire feeds on fuel, and encourage one another. This way we stay on fire for Christ. Copyright © 2000 Timothy A. Southall. All rights reserved. |
