Did you know that everything you have is a gift from God? It is. God created the whole world and everything in it. He created you, and you are very special to Him.

And did you know that it makes God very happy when you tell him how much you appreciate all of things He does for you? God loves you so much that He has given you your family, your home, your clothing, your food, your toys, and everything else that you use and enjoy. And, just like you enjoy being thanked when you give a gift to someone, God also enjoys being thanked. So don't let the day go by without praying to God and telling Him how much you like all of the things he does for you. And in case you didn't already know, there is no special prayer that you have to say-just talk to God like you would to anyone else. You can do this out loud or even in your own mind. He is always there with you and is listening for you!

There is another way to show God that you are thankful, too. Jesus taught us in the Bible that whatever we do for other people, we are also doing for Him. So think of someone who has done something nice for you. And then tell that person how much you appreciate their kindness. You can either tell them in person, by telephone, or write them a special note. This will make that person happy, it will make you feel good, and it will please God!
