Many people want to believe that everyone will go to heaven. Some cover their consciences by believing all their loved ones who die will make it to heaven. But looking at biblical truth, we see that only a few will receive eternal life (Matthew 7:13-14). Many will try but will be condemned (Luke 13:24). This should be a sobering thought for everyone.

The Bible identifies those who will be condemned, including the following:

whoever disowns Jesus before men (Matthew 10:33; Luke 12:9)
anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit (Luke 12:10)
whoever does not believe (Mark 16:16; John 3:18; Revelation 21:8)
those who have not believed the truth but delight in wickedness (2 Thessalonians 2:12)
those who have done evil (John 5:29)
the wicked (1 Corinthians 6:9)
the vile (Revelation 21:8)
the sexually immoral (1 Corinthians 6:9; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:15)
idolaters (1 Corinthians 6:9; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:15)
adulterers (1 Corinthians 6:9)
male prostitutes (1 Corinthians 6:9)
homosexual offenders (1 Corinthians 6:9)
thieves (1 Corinthians 6:10)
the greedy (1 Corinthians 6:10)
drunkards (1 Corinthians 6:10)
slanderers (1 Corinthians 6:10)
swindlers (1 Corinthians 6:10)
those who preach a false gospel (Galatians 1:8-9)
liars (Revelation 21:8)
everyone who loves and practices falsehood (Relevation 22:15)
those who swear (James 5:12)
anyone who hates his brother (1 John 3:15)
murderers (1 John 3:15; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:15)
the cowardly (Revelation 21:8)
those who practice magic arts (Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:15)

It is still not too late, even for those who fall into any of the above descriptions. The trumpet has not sounded. Jesus hasn't returned . . . yet. One can stop and turn his life around. Salvation is available only through Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). The choice is yours. Make the right decision today. Tomorrow may never come.
